Many of the JJBC members travelled to Miami to watch the Jacksonville Jaguars play the Miami Dolphins. A few of us (10) met at the Everbank Field at O dark thirty and caravanned to Miami. We stopped in St Augustine for breakfast at the oh so good and hot food served at Cracker Barrel, then traveled on down to West Palm Beach for lunch at Denny’s. Checked in the Hyatt Place Hotel and gathered for supper at Lauderdale Grille . There were 20 of Jags Fans to help celebrate Justin Lemminn’s 18th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Justin!! The evening was fun and the food was good.
Complimentary breakfast at the hotel had a wide variety of foods and was very tasty. We met Ryan Hawthorne, Front Desk Supervisor, and guess what , he is also a Jaguar fan. There were plenty of Jaguars fans at the game, lots of TEAL in the stands. We also noticed a lot of the Jaguar staff was there with us along with our own Mr. Khan and Mayor Alvin Brown of Jacksonville. What a grand show for our JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS.
Well sadly, we didn’t win but Miami knew the Jaguars’ fans were there supporting our team. After the game we headed back to the hotel and later several of us met at Duffy’s Sports Bar for supper and that made for another good place to eat and have fun with some our new members. Then back to the hotel and played Mexican Train until around midnight. We all had yet another good evening. All I can say is the entire trip was a fun time for us all. Can’t wait to see where we are heading next season. If you have seen other teams we are playing, any suggestions? I have one, but not saying.
