Hi Prospective Board Member!
Fast approaching with the new year of Jaguars Football is the JJBC Annual Meeting. One of the major functions of the meeting is to elect board members to serve the membership and govern the club. It is therefore time to request your assistance in filling the Board of Director’s (BOD) positions that will become vacant this year. There are three positions to be filled this year.
The BOD positions are 3 year terms; the first year is typically a time of learning and experiencing. The BOD meets once a month on the second Tuesday at the Booster Club Office at 6:00PM, 1010 East Adams Street, Suite 107, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Meetings vary with the business to be discussed usually between 1-2 hours.

When your application is received and reviewed the nominating committee will determine your eligibility. After an interview you will be notified whether your name will be placed on the ballot. Applications should be received by May 1, 2013.
I can say from firsthand experience it is a fulfilling opportunity. I have been privileged to meet with Jaguars staff, participate in volunteer opportunities from “Let Us Play” sponsored by Leah and Bryan Barker to the annual taping of “Straight Talk”.
